The FA Cup-Cup - A superbly framed Subbuteo cup - see middle picture below.

This is awarded to the player with the most Stableford points over 18 holes. They are also presented with the
Grim Jacket by the previous years winner. Costing just £8 from Barnardo's this highly sought-after prize has been lovingly embroidered and still bears the charity's label. Custom has it that the current holder (or 'wearer') hits their first defending shot from the first tee in this - thus reducing their chance of getting off to a good start!

The Packet of Trill - sponsored by Animal Allsorts, this gets presented to the golfer with the most birdies of the round.

...And to accompany the Trill - Yes, of course there's the dried Cuttle Fish; but over recent years we have also given away a Chicken, a Budgie, numerous Goldfish, a Hamster, a Bunny, a pair of ducklings and several snails!

A Brace of Wine - another regular prize, generously donated by JV of The Bell Inn, Horndon-on-the-Hill.

A chance to 'Toast the Hunt' - for the shortest drive off the first in each group; an over-sized glass of Port (to be drunk before they reach their ball) - sportingly provided by Matt Bright. And as reward for the 'best' of the worst, we have longest trophy for The Shortest Drive.

The Council Gritter - the unofficial sponsorship prize from Thurrock Council, given for the player having a 'sh***er' of a round (the biggest difference in Stableford scores from the two nines) - courtesy of Ian Rydings.

Ron's Bull's-Eye -  a nice 'round' fifty quid note (ha-ha!) - compliments of Ron Dobinson - but not to be spent in the bar!

The Longest Drive - A somewhat slim figurine (shown below) donated by Kelvin Lucking, having left the last trophy in the curry house!

Wat & Tim's Top Bloke Award - a sort of life-time achievement award which has been presented once only - to our Dad!

The Wooden Spoon - bloody obvious what this is for!

Among the other prizes given away at great expense have been balls, Barclays & Lloyds Bank freebies, cases of beer and a full-size, mounted tenpin bowling Pin for The Last Man Standing.
